On May 8th, Caroline Polachek performed at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, BC, and showcased her newest album Desire, I Want To Turn To You.
The night opened with Sudan Archives, an American violinist, singer, and songwriter who got the crowd out of their seats very quickly. She even jumped off the stage to join the audience during her last song.
Shortly after, a countdown clock appeared on the screen announcing Caroline Polacheck‘s arrival onto the mountain/volcano-inspired stage. She started the show with “Welcome to My Island” which fitted perfectly the following hour and a half where Polachek welcomed us into her world and captivated us with her beautiful stage production and incredible voice.
Polcheck will finish the North American leg of her world tour on May 20 in New York before jetting off to Europe until the end of July for the summer festivals.
