MDM Recordings Inc. announces the newest addition to their roster with the signing of The Redhill Valleys, who have a new single release on June 2
On May 2, Americana / roots country-rock band The Redhill Valleys signed with MDM Recordings Inc. and their award-winning roster. This four-piece collective, with powerful, earthy harmonies, rootsy guitar licks, and timeless lyrics – and whose name pays homage to their hometown of Hamilton, Ontario – is comprised of band members is comprised of members Chelsea McWilliams (bass/vocals), Tim Allard (lead guitar/vocals), Danielle Beaudin (guitar/vocals) and Matt Soliveri (drums).
Blending rock, Americana, and alternative country to create their own unique sound, The Redhill Valleys doesn’t shy away from nostalgia and pulls influence from artists such as Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Neil Young, The Band, and Fleetwood Mac. Since their inception in 2016, the band has remained steadfast on the Indie path and has built a steady fanbase in the Canadian music scene. They’ve also etched a significant presence within the music industry, playing prominent festival stages and securing multiple award nominations, including “Best Group” and “Best Roots Artists” at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards for three years in a row.
Of the new signing, MDM’s founder and president Mike Denney shares,
“I happened to catch The Redhill Valleys at the 2022 Boots and Hearts Music Festival where they played the Front Porch Stage. Their set, sound and stage presence completely drew me in and I was left blown away by their performance. They share a likeness to star country acts, such as Little Big Town, with a heightened intensity. I am excited to be working with them and look forward to the amazing journey ahead.”
The Redhill Valleys added,

Speaking of releasing new music, the band is set to release their newest single, “Long Way Back,” on June 2, and more releases throughout the latter half of 2023.
On the flip side of the coin, The Redhill Valleys are so passionate about bringing music lovers together that they advocate for music accessibility. They are involved in numerous programs that provide opportunities for music education, including AIFEC, Girls Rock Camp, and City Kidz within their home city of Hamilton.
