O.G. Deathcore titans Chelsea Grin are hot off the heels from their duel album release, Suffer in Heaven and Suffer in Hell. To celebrate the release of these records, they have commenced a must-see deathcore tour featuring support from Carnifex, Ov Sulfur, and Left to Suffer. On Sunday, April 30th, 2023, this spectacular tour package made a stop at the historic Opera House in Toronto.
The show sold out, proving that Carnifex and Chelsea Grin are as relevant as ever. This feat is amazing considering how much the deathcore landscape has changed and how both bands have adapted to the changing trends with stride and grace. Opening acts Left to Suffer and Ov Sulfur are much newer than the headlining acts, yet their contribution to the lineup was warranted. Both these acts are very well-liked among the Deathcore community, and the crowd was very responsive to both their set lists. The night was filled with an energy and enthusiasm that was refreshing to experience. This tour is a must-see for all fans of heavy music.
