The Radiant shares a music video for their single, “Smooth Parts”
Saskatoon SK’s alt-rock group, The Radiant, has unveiled their single, “Smooth Parts,” from their EP, Logical Steps. In addition, the band teamed up with Prehistoric Productions + Creative Saskatchewan on what they’re calling a “murderously good video.”
Review
The track begins with a driving guitar riff, joined by Mikhaila’s robust vocals. Throughout the song, the instrumentation is consistently high-powered and fuzz-infused.
The recently released music video has a horror-inspired vibe from the start. We watch a well-dressed man head to a massage parlor with his boombox and an axe. As he enters, a woman calls him to the end of a hallway. As he enters the plastic-encased room, he’s attacked.
Throughout the video, we see stories such as these occur, and in between, the band plays in that plastic and now bloody room.
The video complements the song perfectly with a high-energy, horrific tone.
In summary, The Radiant has created a mini horror movie, and you need to watch and listen now!
