Roxane Bruneau
April 14th, 2023
Bell Center, Montreal QC
Tonight, Quebec singer Roxane Bruneau had quite the close to her Acrophobie tour in Montreal! Not only did she play the Bell Center, but it was also completely sold-out!
All the stops were pulled for this massive production, with Roxane starting the show on a platform 15 feet above ground to the sounds of a frenzied crowd. She went through songs from her 2020 critically-acclaimed album Acrophobie, like Bienvenue Dans Mon Cirque, Le Petit Soldat and Crazy Glue, as well as hits like Des p’tits bouts de toi, which the audience screamed back at her. Moments in-between songs were punctuated by bits of humor, as we also know Roxane from her Youtube stand-up days. The both are mixed flawlessly, giving the show a great rythm and the fans many interactions.
The official setlist ended with J’pas stressée, but the singer-songwriter had a surprise for this very special last show! Indeed, she teased fans with the name of her next album, and played two songs from it! Based on what we heard, we won’t be so surprised when she inevitably sells out another Bell Center next time she tours!
