shy kids unveil their new single, “lovin you (baby)”

Toronto’s shy kids share new single, “lovin you (baby)” in advance of upcoming album, house cats

Last month, Toronto’s shy kids released their latest EP, fresh off a feeling complete with captivating and eye-catching videos produced with the help of their friends, and AI effects for the title track and compiling the band’s archival family videos through a painting-like and radiant frame for single “family name.”

Today, the shy kids trio comprised of PatrickMatthew, and Walter expand on their just announced, upcoming new album, house catsthe band’s third full-length, coming out July 14, 2023, via Everything Foreverhouse cats features 11 songs, which tell stories of romance, rebirths, and recollections. Confined to the band’s demo playlists for too long — it is time for them to step out into the wild.

shy kids also share another new video for LP single “lovin you (baby).” The idea for the video was to take that hallucinatory trip and bounce between the real and the feral, the human and the animal. All the feelings of being lost out in the world and lost up in your head together, and when you close your eyes, how it feels to come up, blind behind your eyelids. shy kids again credit sxela and their work on stable warpfusion that helped the band achieve the stunning visual effects in the video.
