Canadian alt-rockers July Talk played a packed house at the Grey Eagle in Calgary, with rock duo Crown Lands opening.
Crown Lands kicked off the show with a groovy rock show, Cody Bowles belts out the lyrics and hits the drums, and Kevin Comeau shreds the guitar, bass, and keys. Crown Lands is a hidden gem.
July Talk then took the stage and tore the house down with an interactive show and a mix of their old and new tracks, Peter Dreimanis growls and belts lyrics, and Leah Fay grooves and sings her verses with her soft voice—a contrast creating a one of a kind sound making for a stellar show.
