ZOOMIES – Geneviève Racette + deluxe edition of Satellite released

Canadian Folk Music Award winner, Geneviève Racette, is proud to be celebrating the first anniversary of her third full-length album, Satellite. As a thank you to her supporters, today she has released a deluxe version of the album, which includes live acoustic versions of the tracks “Someone,” “Hostage,” “Maybe,” and “Les adieux.” Listen here.

On March 18, 2022, Racette released Satellite to the world; a 9-song collection of folk-pop tracks delivering honest stories of self-discovery and reflection through the cycle of love. The year that followed was unforgettable for the Montreal artist, with highlights including Dallas Green performing on stage with her at her Toronto album release show, official showcases at Folk Alliance International in 2022 and 2023, performances at AmericanaFest, Canadian Music Week and for Manitoba Arts Network, and a tour that spanned across Canada and 18 states through the USA. Not to mention surpassing over 3 million streams on Spotify. While she is spending time writing new music for the next album, she’s thrilled to be reflecting on one incredible year!
