Peacefull is an up-and-coming Canadian rock band from Drummondville, Quebec. Founded in 2015, we are a group of four passionate musicians who strive to create meaningful and powerful music.
We are passionate advocates of self-sufficiency and autonomy, which is why we chose to produce, mix, master, compose, and perform our first album, Peacefull, by our own means in our studio located in Drummondville.
We released our self-titled debut album on June 1, 2020. The album is a mixture of rock, metal, and sometimes even punk.
We believe our sound is unique and captivating, as it blends the hard-hitting rock vibes with the more mellow and atmospheric tones of alternative rock.
We have already managed to build a dedicated fanbase, and we have been featured in several Canadian and international magazines and radios. We have also gained recognition in our hometown, as we have been invited to play in several local festivals.
Other collaborators have also shared their voices on the album:
• Jacinthe Verrier (The Queen)
• Hugo Senécal (The Queen and I Run)
• Dominic Poisson (I Run)
• François-Michel Labrie (The Queen)
• and Luc Deschambault (The Queen).
After nine videos and with our debut and self-titled album, Peacefull is a passionate, self-sufficient, hard-working group to discover.
With pleasure! We released a new punk rock song called “Billy Oliver” on March 1st, 2023.
It’s a song about a young lad who had a difficult childhood. Left alone by himself with no mom and dad to take care of him, he found the strength to find his salvation in music and education. Over time, the young Billy Oliver became a lawyer during the day and a rocker when night falls.
It reached 3000 in only seven days and over 5000 in 2 weeks on the Audius.co streaming platform.
Most of the time, we draw our inspiration from true events or stories and real people. But sometimes, it’s about the emotions of the moment turned into a fictional story. We draw our inspiration from various sources, as we don’t follow any guide or recipe to write. We just let inspiration come from whatever happens, whenever it happens.
We do have a couple of local shows already booked for this summer. This will be a great opportunity to get back on stage and see our friends and fans. Like every other band, we didn’t have a chance to play a lot because of the lockdowns, so these are exciting times to perform live again!
For the coming weeks, we will continue the promotion of our new song, “Billy Oliver.”
After that comes the fine-tuning of our upcoming shows for the summer.
We are also already working on the next album. Lots of great new songs are coming up right before next Christmas. We spoke to Santa, and if everything goes according to plan, the new album should be out in the middle of December and ready to be delivered in chimneys around the world on the 24th.
Stay tuned, my friends! Stay tuned!
