Canadian alt-pop duo Bestfriend, comprised of Stacy Kim (vocals/instrumentals) and Kaelan Geoffrey (vocals/production), have announced their sophomore EP, places i’ve left out April 21st via Nettwerk. Pre-save the EP here.
The duo has unveiled their latest single and the third single from the upcoming EP, “Love Always Came So Easy For You,” which follows the previous singles, “Anxious People” and “LEMON LIME.”
We’re Stacy and Kaelan, and we’re Bestfriend! We live a few thousand miles apart and have been making music together for a few years now since we met online.
“Love Always Came So Easy For You” is a song about someone who can’t make up their mind, which makes them susceptible to feeling certain emotions really easily since they’re so transient.
Stacy reads and watches lots of TV and movies and tends to write a lot about overarching themes and feelings – storytelling always comes first when it comes to writing for her.
We’re trying to plan a show around the EP release – hypothetically, our first show ever, so it’s going to be pretty neat. Fingers crossed that it all works out. We’ll let you know the specifics soon.
More shows, more writing, and more making connections with people we love!
