NSF Breezy is an up-and-coming artist out of Calgary. Working on his music for the past couple of years, Breezy has plans to put his hometown and team on the map. Through his lyrics, he allows the listener to learn about his life. Every win and loss he ever took in life is shown to the world. As Breezy continues to grow, he is determined to accomplish his goals.
I’m NSF Breezy, an up-and-coming artist coming out of Calgary. I started making music in 2020 and started taking it seriously around 2022. I make music because it’s a way for me to express myself to the world, being able to show my emotions and feelings and get them off my chest.
My most recent drop is “Day n Nite,” which dropped on Feb. 14, 2023. I had written the song a little while ago but didn’t get the chance to record it until recently. It’s a song about going through heartbreaks, and I was inspired by my own personal events that were happening around the time. Going through something like heartbreak or dealing with loneliness isn’t something I like to talk to people about, so it helped me to deal with it by writing about it.
I usually write about stuff that is happening to me or around me. It’s easier for me to take experiences that I went through or how these experiences made me feel and put them into my music. I like to get inspired by other artists I look up to as well, like Toosii or Polo G or MBNel, but it’s just easier for me to make music based on whatever I’m personally going through rather than try to sound like someone else and copy their stories.
My next performance is on March 31, opening for another artist. I have the first show that I will be headlining on either May 12th or 13th. I also have a few more shows planned for this upcoming year, so stay tuned.
My goal for myself is to expand my audience to other cities. Some of my audience comes from cities outside of Calgary, like Vancouver or Edmonton, and I would like to see these numbers continue to grow. I’m also aiming for my music to make its way toward the East Coast, where my audience numbers aren’t as high.

I’m Jenna, the founder and editor of Canadian Beats. I have had a strong love for Canadian music, which started many years ago. I have a passion for promoting these talented Canadian bands and artists, and that’s how Canadian Beats came to be.
Canadian Beats has grown to become more than media, and what a journey it’s been.
