Ontario-based hip-hop artist Dave Mac has unveiled an entertaining song and video for a company he’s working with, MoonLight Sauna.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

I am DAVE MAC from Ontario, Canada! I make music and work full-time installing staircases.

Tell us a bit about your most recent release.

As an influencer/musician, I have been able to do collaborations with different companies over the past couple of years. Recently, I teamed up and did a promotional song for a sauna company. This new song is the jingle I came up with for the company Moonlight Saunas.

Where do you tend to pull inspiration from when writing?

I usually get inspired because I get paid to do what I love, and one of my favourite artists, who is the rapper MA$E also had a great year which provided me inspiration from his success. I’ve been following and studying him for years, and he definitely inspires me to push myself and make more music.

Do you have any upcoming shows you’d like to tell us about?

I prefer performing at resorts, so before the COVID pandemic happened, I was getting booked at a lot of resorts in Jamaica, the Dominican, and Cuba. One of the perks would be getting to stay at the resorts for free and perform. The first show is Friday, February 10th, in San Francisco at Monarch.

What’s your goal for 2023?

To do as many song features as possible and to help as many artists get on the right path with their careers and get a foot in the door with music.
