Fresh off the release of her debut, three-track EP Back To The Trailer, emerging country artist Dayna Reid has been turning heads across the industry since signing to Open Road Recordings & RGK Entertainment Group in late 2022.
Dayna recently released her single, “She’s Me,” and just last week unveiled a music video to accompany the release, directed by Travis Didluck (Tyler Shaw, Aaron Goodvin).
Co-written with Beverley Mahood and Mac Shepherd, the track has taken country radio by storm, climbing up the charts and landing Dayna coveted titles such as Pure Country’s iHeartRadio Future Star, and Stingray’s Trending Track.
Inspired by her upbringing in Elmvale, Ontario, Dayna wanted the “She’s Me” music video to resonate with anyone who’s fearlessly chasing their biggest dreams.
“I grew up in a small town and relate to people who are thankful for their experiences being in a small community so far, but also want to see what else this big world has to offer them,” Dayna explains. “‘She’s Me’ is about keeping your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds while you’re going after your dream… whatever that may be.”
