Last night, British it girl Suki Waterhouse brought her Coolest Place In The World Tour to a sold-out Studio TD! The crazy snowstorm outside didn’t prevent fans from showing up in masses as soon as doors opened.
Los Angeles alt-rock rising star Blondshell opened the evening, enchanting the crowd with her cool girl-next-door vibes and effortless rock attitude. It was a great set to warm up the audience and get them ready for the night’s main lady!
Shortly after 9pm, Suki Waterhouse emerged on stage to a thunder of applause. The front rows, made up of die-hard fans, sang back every single lyric as she kicked off her set to the sounds of Bullshit on the Internet. Throughout her performance, Suki rocked the house while making it look so effortless. With a certain je-ne-sais-quoi, she had an ethereal presence to her as she danced around the stage, hypnotizing the crowd with her unique voice.
The evening was the perfect way to feel warm inside despite the winter storm out, and it is no doubt that next time Suki Waterhouse comes into town, she’ll be able to fill a larger venue like the Corona Theater or MTelus!
