Geneviève Racette celebrates one year anniversary of No Water, No Flowers

Montreal singer-songwriter Geneviève Racette will celebrate the one-year release date of her first bilingual album, No Water, No Flowers.  Independently released, this album holds a release of extreme emotion.  Racette is proud and humbled by the reception and reliability she has received. Charting top 10 on Radio-Canada Chansons Sirius XM, for the top albums of May 2019, a Canadian Folk Music Award, featured on Folk Radio UK, and an invite from Dallas Green to play on stage at Osheaga, Genevieve’s talents are being recognized and are maintaining momentum.

Racette says, “Music is all about sharing, feeling and collaborating and none of my successes would exist without the different people who inspire me every day.”

Exploring the vulnerabilities of personal struggles of Life, Death, Grief, Love, and Travel. Learning to navigate these themes with a soft clear tone, with hauntingly sweet serenade, Genevieve draws you into her stories just like magnetic love.

In celebration of the one year anniversary of her first bilingual album, No Water, No Flowers being released, Geneviève has been selected to participate in National Arts Centre’s #CanadaPerforms with a Facebook live stream performance at 7 pm ET on May 24th on her Facebook page.
