Who: Metronomy
Where: MTelus, Montreal QC
When: February 7th 2020
The 50 centimetres caused by yesterday’s winter storm forced many Montrealers to stay home with the closure of schools and offices, but one thing was for sure: MTelus stayed open for an exciting night of indie pop, with the Metronomy Forever Tour stopping in town! After an opening set by Birds of Paradise (who jumped in at the last-minute to replace Charlotte Adigéry who got stranded by the weather in Toronto), Joseph, Olugbenga, Anna and Oscar arrived on stage. Dressed in white jumpsuits, the British quator rocked the crowd with a flawless mix of older hits and tunes from their most recent album, released last November. Walking out of this energetic and uplifting performance, anyone who braved the snow to come could only agree on one this: Metronomy truly is forever!
