Since reemerging after a year hiatus with her inspiring anthem, “Light of Mine,” WHIPPED CREAM has continued to share her most personal music to date. Radiating a newfound confidence in “CRY,” she channels all of her pain into strength and wastes no tears on the past.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
My name is Caroline, I’m a female music producer from Vancouver Island in Canada. I grab a lot of my inspiration from the world around me and my life experiences and push my feelings and emotions through the music I make.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release, “CRY”.
“CRY” is a song about being at the end of something that has hurt you constantly. It’s about having no tears, words, or energy left to give to a situation. A situation that has caused you to become stronger by hurt and pain. The first drop is the feeling of rising strong and powerfully into your new self. The second drop is a feeling of getting tested again by that toxic energy but remaining true to your new self of not going back to what was.
After not being able to tour for the last two years, how are you feeling about being back on the stage? What’s in store for your Ultra and Coachella performances?
I am so excited to be performing at Ultra and Coachella this year. I have a bunch of new music that I’ve created over the last two years to debut at these festivals and a brand new show and experience for the audience to enjoy. I feel like a kid in a candy shop or like every day is Christmas, life is amazing right now.
Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so if you were able to work with ONE fellow Canadian artist, alive or dead, who would you choose?
The number one person in Canada that I’d like to work with is Drake!
What’s your biggest goal for 2022?
My biggest goal for 2022 is to come out of this year with music that I can stand behind 100%. A vision that is so me and uninterrupted by anyone else’s opinions. My goal is to fully share what I am and my truest self to the world.
