May Wells recently released her latest single “Obvious” across all digital platforms and now to Canadian radio. The new song is the first single off of the singer-songwriter’s next EP which is expected to be released in the coming months. “Obvious” gives a fresh new breath, a touch of nostalgia, and a different atmosphere to Wells’ strong catalog of music. “Obvious” was written with a pop sound in mind and composed in collaboration with Lucatheproducer (Cinzia & the Eclipse, Flara K, J4DE).
Wells also produced an accompanying video for “Obvious” which was created during the lockdown and filled with familiar faces; CamGrandeBrune (Youtubeuse), Cinzia & the Eclipse, Flara K, J4DE (Jade Hassouné), Kingdom Street, Lydia Sutherland (La Voix), Raphaël Roberge (Mix4), Redgee (La Voix), Rémi Desgagné (Youtubeur), and Will Murphy.
Wells launched her solo career in 2016. The young artists first single “We All Want Love” quickly opened the doors to Canadian Music. Wells wants fans to stay tuned for new music including an announcement for a new EP to be released. You can check out the video for “Obvious” right here.
