Mister Nobu dropped a new video for his track “Best Of Me”, off of his recent album.
Nobu Adilman is the co-director of Choir! Choir! Choir! but is perhaps better known by his solo stage name Mister Nobu following the release of his debut solo record, Tavie, which dropped near the end of March.
Adilman worked with friend and director Romeo Candido to put together the video for “Best Of Me”.
“For five days this past December, I found myself on Pamalican Island, south of Manila, a paradise that features the most stunning beach and sky I’ve ever experienced,” says Adilman. “Jet-lagged and armed with only a phone, my director pal Romeo Candido and I walked the beach for a couple early mornings and made my first video for the album. The huge expanse, emptiness, and beauty of our surroundings complimented the tune ‘Best Of Me’. And watching it now, opposed to most films and tv shows that feature people interacting pre-corona virus, it feels like it was made for a time of physical distancing.”
