After a great first day, featuring a showcase of some of Canada’s most promising female talents, we made our way to the SAT for the second night of M for Montreal!
The evening started with a set from local actress and singer Claudia Bouvette. Dressed in red from head to toe and accompanied by two musicians, Claudia kicked off the festivities with her sweetheart looks, angelic voice and adorable energy.
Next, former The Voice contestant Soran hit the stage. During his set, the South shore prodigy charmed the crowd with his dreamy vibes, and impressed everyone with his multi-instrumental talents. Soran’s songs feel like a summertime sunset, which was some much needed warmth on this cold evening, and the perfect set to get ready for the showcase’s main acts.
Shortly after 11pm, in front of a packed venue, the headliners Busty and The Bass erupted on stage. It had been a while since the 8-piece band came back home for a show, and you could feel the excitement in the crowd as soon as the set started. At the front of the stage, vocalists Nick Ferraro and Alistair Blu entertained the crowd as they led the band through a great performance of groovy, energetic beats.
