Cassie Dasilva Releases Sophomore EP, you don’t wanna feel this much all the time

After a steady stream of single releases in 2024, Cassie Dasilva is debuting her sophomore EP, you don’t wanna feel this much all the time. The EP follows her 2021 debut “Enough” and features six of Dasilva’s classic angst-pop energy anthems, this time, with a darker, moodier energy.

Kicking things off with 2024’s first single “part of the club”, the EP delivers everything we’ve come to expect from Dasilva — electric guitar riffs, sultry vocals, undeniable hooks, and her signature autobiographical lyrics.

Working alongside the budding household name once again is Juno award-winning producer Hill Kourkoutis, and the release comes hot on the heels of Dasilva’s finalist spot on Canada’s Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Musician Program.

When discussing the EP’s energy and overall vibe, Dasilva says, “If over-analyzing could be packaged up into 6 songs, this would be it. I can’t just say I love someone… I have to talk about why that’s a scary thing for me to feel, like in ‘part of the club’. I can’t just say I miss someone… I have to dissect why that’s difficult for me to admit, like in ‘hate that you can tell’.”

Get ready to hear the EP live when Dasilva hits the NXNE stage in Toronto. Catch her at Bar Cathedral on Friday, June 14, 2024. Get your tickets here.

you don’t wanna feel this much all the time is out now worldwide. Stream or purchase the new EP wherever music is available.
