Kristen Martell was joined by Laura Rae at The Carleton in Halifax Thursday, October 20th, to celebrate the release of her new album, Every Season, which was released in September. Kristen Martell returned to music in 2020 and has already received an East Coast Music Award nomination and three Music Nova Scotia award nominations for her hazy folk-pop songs. She was accompanied on stage by Brooklyn Blackmore and Nick Maclean.
Laura Rae–a Halifax-based singer-songwriter–opened the night for Kristen Martell. Joined by Brandon Mooney, they performed a handful of her folk/indie/pop-rock songs.
