Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hello Everyone! I’m Brittany Brodie, a Country Music singer-songwriter originally from Ontario, Canada and I now officially hang my hat in Nashville, TN.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
“Man On The Run” is a bad-ass truckin’ song.
Everything we have in our lives is because a truck brought it. I think it’s time they have a new song!
I was inspired by stories my Daddy tells me, as he is a lifelong trucker.
It is such a fun, upbeat song and I really hope it becomes a summer jam for y’all.
Where do you tend to pull inspiration from when writing?
I get inspired by everyone and everything around me. Complete strangers or my own personal experiences. If there isn’t a song I can relate to for something I’m going through…I will write about it.
Let me tell you. Writing is another form of therapy.
Do you have any upcoming shows or festivals you’d like to tell us about?
I have some upcoming festivals this year in the U.K. and of course amazing things I cannot announce yet, so I will dangle the carrot and y’all will have to follow me to find out! I’m very excited!
What’s your goal for 2022?
To hit another career milestone and keep putting out more music for the fans. Also, get Married!
