Chris Ryan, Justin Fancy, The Reklaws

The 39th Annual George Street Festival opened up with a night that is always a hit, country night. Chris Ryan was a last-minute addition to the show, being asked to perform just a few hours before he hit the stage, but he was a perfect choice to get the crowd warmed up. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to photograph this set.
Up next was Justin Fancy, backed by a stellar band of local musicians including Nick Earle, Dan George, and Jacob Earle as well as past ECMA nominee Clint Curtis. This was not the first time Justin had graced the George Street main stage and you could tell by the crowd singing along to many of his songs.
For their second time at the George Street Festival, The Reklaws closed the night out with a very energy-filled set.
