With a smoke and a dream, Joce Reyome landed on Prince Edward Island five years ago and never looked back. A dynamic force in the Island’s music scene, Reyome was named Music PEI’s “Entertainer of the Year” in 2022 and received multiple nominations for their single “Cross My Heart.” Blending classic blues with raw vocals and rock influences, Reyome’s sound draws inspiration from Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, and Tracy Chapman. Performing with genuine authenticity, Joce takes audiences on a journey of complex heartbreak and love. They live in Charlottetown with their wife Cameron, poodle-mix Frankie, and cat Eggs Florentine.
Joce Reyome is set to play Stan Rogers Folk Festival in Canso, NS, throughout the weekend of July 25-28.
