Good Music Monday to everybody out there who is ready to soak up some brand new music. You have stumbled upon a list of articles posted on this website, that I picked to be my favourites this week. These articles are nicknamed, Zach’s Picks Of The Week presented by Canadian Beats Media, the home of the best new music across the Internet. Each of these links will be posted in the article that you’re reading right now. So be sure to go check out all of these recommendations coming up for your enjoyment. However, there is so much more coming out on our website, so be sure to explore every single day from your favourite social media platforms. But for right now, we are going to jump right into the brand new music because this is Music Mondays on Canadian Beats.

Five

Let’s begin this week’s list with heartfelt piano-pop troubadour Mike Evin. He joins us with the release of “Along the Way,” which is the fourth single of the upcoming album. That will be titled Something Stirs When You Sing, it is going to be released on August 23, so be sure to keep an eye out for the whole album. But the new single is a bittersweet, sentimental ode to the passage of time in daily living. Taking vocal styles from artists like Billy Joel and The Beatles. Be sure to listen to the brand new single within our article that is posted right here.

Four

Coming up next will be the long-running solo project, HOMESHAKE from Toronto. Also known just as Peter Sagar, has released his second album this year, Horsie which is available everywhere thanks to Dine Alone Records. Quoted from the article, “This album is mostly about being on tour, and it was mostly written well on our first tour back from Covid lockdowns.” Speaking of which there is a list of upcoming tour dates posted within the article where you can also hear the tunes from his brand new album Horsie. Check it out right here.

Three

Moving along we have the return of Edmonton-based artist, Draemus returning with the epic adventure “FREEDOM,” featuring Theresia. Be sure to find this incredible song across all streaming platforms now. Draemus offers a unique Alternative/Electronic experience from other worlds and dimensions. But if you enjoy groups like Linkin Park, Garbage, Marilyn Manson & other weird SCI-FI, you’re sure to enjoy “FREEDOM.” so be sure to check it out now within the article that we have posted right here.

Two

In at number two on this week’s list, welcome Vancouver-based indie singer-songwriter Heidi Vincent. Who’s unveiled her latest single to all streaming platforms, it’s called “What Love Can Do.” This is part one of a story about love and heartbreak, with country-pop influence within it. We go into full detail on our single review for the new track “What Love Can Do” in our article that is posted on our website, just right through here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

This spot is especially reserved for our international artist of the week. This one you might even recognize from being on our list before. Welcome back to Nashville, Tennessee house-shaking Goldy lockS Band and the video for their single, “Just Say Yes.” This fun, exciting track track embodies the way the band lives their lives every single day. Quoted from the article, lead singer Goldy Locks states “I’ll stop at nothing ‘til I reach the top/ I’ll keep on moving and I’ll never stop.” The video shows uplifting vibes and humour, a genuine hoot and a half in which has Locks and her band going around and selling vacuums, cleaners, and other household items. Have a look at the article that we have linked here.

One

This is going to be my number one recommendation for you to enjoy the best new music. It’s JUNO and Canadian Radio Music Award-nominated alternative-rock band Bleeker back on our list. They just recently unveiled their brand new album to all streaming sites, it’s called Messed Up. Featuring many incredible singles that you probably have already heard songs like “Let It Go” and “Make It Better”, which got them some NHL attention this season. There are so many more incredible songs so you better go check it out now and all your favourite streaming platforms and within the article that we have posted right here.
