Tell us a bit about your most recent release.

The new single has been special for me. Collaborating with Rich Cloke and Elias James on the songwriting, and having it produced/mixed by Dan Brodbeck, and mastered by Harry Hess has been a rewarding experience. It’s a vibrant and meaningful track, and I enjoyed the process of putting together a song that is both upbeat and carries depth for country music. There is also a music video coming with it afterwards so I think it’ll be enjoyable.

Do you have any upcoming shows you’d like to tell us about?

In 2023, I had numerous solo and full band gigs, and my album release, “Waste of Time,” marked a wonderful achievement. Touring the world in recent years has been an incredible experience, and I’m hopeful for more of the same in 2024. Get ready for some exciting surprises ahead!

If given the chance, which Canadian artist would you love to work with in the future?

If the chance to collaborate with Alanis Morissette presented itself, it would be a dream come true. Her iconic voice and profound songwriting have undeniably left a lasting impact on the music industry, including my view of it. Partnering with someone as experienced and talented as Alanis could infuse a rich depth into the creative process, introducing a unique and powerful element to any project.

What’s your goal for 2024?

Going into 2024, my goal is to uncover my characteristic musical voice while embracing new stories writing, and performing. Collaborating with fellow artists, I’m all about contributing to a lively and supportive musical community, especially when moving to Nashville. Drawing inspiration from pioneers, my aim is to create music that challenges norms and resonates with listeners. I hope that I find many opportunities to perform, travel, and collaborate. I am also eager to add my chapter to the evolving history of artists who have left a lasting impact.
