Victoria’s Liam MacKenzie & The Moondogs have unveiled their EP, Once Again, Here’s…
The EP’s four tracks are where Southern rock ‘n’ roll meets blue-eyed soul, shaken, not stirred, with a little bit of country and a hint of that sweet American gospel. Together, along with the new single “Hazy Jane”, also out today, they bring out a stellar record ready for all to enjoy.
“We’re very excited to release the 4th and final track from this EP, and for it to be in its entirety for your listening pleasure. The whole writing and recording process was as fun as it gets, and we can’t wait to head back into the studio this fall,” says Liam MacKenzie (frontman).
Comprised of past and current members of Jets Overhead, Leeroy Stagger, and the Jesse Roper Band and having opened for the likes of Big Sugar, John Fogarty, Wide Mouth Mason, and Keb’Mo in 2022, Liam MacKenzie & The Moondogs are not ones to pass over.
Three tracks from the EP, “Hazy Jane”, “Circle On The Sun,” and “Kentucky” were mixed at The Hive by Colin Stewart (Art D’ecco, Dan Mangan, Bedouin Soundclash) and masted in Toronto by Joao Carvalho (The Smashing Pumpkins, Alt J, Protest The Hero). The full EP was recorded between The Hive and Silverside Sound studios on Vancouver Island.
