On November 26, Drop Top Alibi took over the Bovine Sex Club in Toronto to celebrate their new EP Anyways.
On the bill alongside them were Mobius Radio and Queens & Kings, two Toronto staples in the scene. Both bands are two-piece bands, and they put on amazing shows to start off what was a legendary night at the Bovine.
Drop Top Alibi playing to a packed crowd who went wild the whole night. It was something I’d never seen at a DTA show before; It was magical to witness. DTA played their ep in its entirety, along with some oldies and a couple of cover songs too. They were on fire from start to finish.
To end the night, DTA invited some of the friends who also play in bands to share the stage with them while they played Rage Against the Machine’s “Bulls on Parade,” and they definitely raged and got the crowd lit. That was a once-in-a-lifetime moment we all got to see and be part of.
