CCMA award-nominated artist David James released his emotionally charged new single “Let Her Go” everywhere
November 18 was a stellar day for Winnipeg-born country artist David James. That was the day he shared, to the world, a unique perspective on what it means to hold on tight to the one you love. “Let Her Go” is James’s latest single, released via MDM Recordings Inc./ Universal Music Canada. It was produced by Danick Dupelle and written by Hillary Lindsey, Josh Miller, and Jordan Davis. The track showcases a unique third-person perspective about an ex-relationship, painting a melodic picture in an emotionally charged melody.
“Let Her Go” marks the second release this year from the country artist that channels a new and evolved sound. Says James,
““Let Her Go” is different from anything that I’ve every released before. Content-wise I have never heard another song like this; it’s a unique perspective about an overbearing ex-partner. Musically, I really love the evolved tone that my producer Danick Dupelle was able to capture. We worked hard to bring the story to life, and I feel it is going to resonate with many people.”
