Madisyn Gifford Returns With Infectiously Cheeky New Single “Hospital Beds”
Maintaining her mark for crafting a catchy track out of honest experiences, Vancouver pop artist Madisyn Gifford releases her cheeky new single “Hospital Beds” via 604 Records. “The song Hospital Beds is a really interesting one for me and also a song that I’m insanely proud of. I originally wrote it in October of 2021 as a slow melancholy acoustic song, and it wasn’t until August 2022 that my producer and co-writer Jared Manierka and I decided to take a completely different approach and turn it into the tongue and cheek alternative pop song it is today,” Madisyn shares on the track’s evolution. “Essentially, throughout the track, I am calling myself out for my own victim complex and tendency to self sabotage my own relationships. Although I think the song is really funny lyrically, I feel it’s still very vulnerable and honest at the same time. I’m so excited for this track to finally be out in the world!”
Quickly joining the new generation of Canadian artists getting noticed in the rising pop scene, Madisyn has already accumulated over 1.2M Youtube views and nearly 700K Spotify streams since her debut release, “Without You,” in 2020.
