Burn the Louvre shares their ninth single, “Easy” from Silhouettes

Hamilton, ON’s Burn the Louvre has unveiled their ninth single from their debut LP Silhouettes. The duo has been releasing this LP one song per month since January.

This 9th single is a dark, moody track called “Easy,” inspired by the demise of lead singer/guitarist Jordan Speare’s on-again/off-again relationship with his college sweetheart.

“I wrote “Easy” after my college girlfriend and I broke up, the first time we broke up,” Speare says with a smile, “basically, this one is just about the difficulties of modern relationships. This North American lifestyle we’ve been fed has left us all beaten down to the point where people don’t want to trust each other anymore. Human relationships should be very easy on the surface, but of course, that is rarely the case.”
