Tonight, BC pop princess Carly Rae Jepsen brought her So Nice Tour to a packed MTelus! It had been a while since we last caught her show in London, ON in 2019, so needless to say we were as excited as the Montreal crowd to see her!
Honduran-American singer Empress Of opened the show, throwing a big dance party under flashing lights. Shortly after 9pm, Carly Rae made a show-stopping entrance as a silhouette in front of a big circle structure in the middle of the stage. Among floating clouds and stars, the singer gave a dreamy pop performance in front of a sea of frenzied fans. Her energy and smile were contagious as she performed a setlist full of bangers, including major hits Run Away with Me, I Really Like You, and of course the classic bop Call Me Maybe. All in all, tonight was a great evening of pop that left the audience dancing all the way home!
