Puerto Rican king of reggaeton Daddy Yankee brought his La Ultima Vuelta (“The Last Flight”) Tour to a sold-out Bell Center last night! For his last stop in town before retiring after three decades of being one of the biggest Latin American artists, the singer pulled all the stops. Perched on a tall platform behind a massive screen, he came out of a virtual airplane accompanied by a lot of dancers. Pyrotechnics punctuated most songs, setting the stage on sparks and flames. The highlight of the night was obviously his 2004 major hit Gasolina, the 30-something songs setlist truly showed the width of Daddy Yankee’s work, with so many hits that helped put reggaeton on the global map!
