On Friday night, Skye Wallace kicked off the rotating headliners weekend at Halifax Urban Folk Festival at The Carleton. True to her folk roots, she started the evening with a solo, acoustic number, before switching gears to a high-energy rock show with her amazing full band.
Opening the show with a songwriters circle was Aaron Lee Tasjan from Nashville, Bob Schneider from Austin, and Halifax’s own Kim Harris, who hosted the circle.
