LASSO Montreal 2022
Day 1: August 12th, 2022
with Dierks Bentley, Old Dominion, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes, James Barker Band, Blanco Brown, Sara Dufour, Jojo Mason, Lily Rose, Sacha, Mountain Daisies and Sykamore
LASSO Montreal kicked off its inaugural edition yesterday! After 3 years of waiting, festivalgoers put on their best cowboy boots and hats and showed up in great numbers for a first edition in a perfect end of summer weather.
We started our day with Alberta singer Sykamore, Quebec duo Mountain Daisies, the bubbly Sacha and her catchy Taylor Swift covers, Lily Rose, and the charismatic Jojo Mason, who took time well after his set to take selfies with fans!
After a little detour by the Coca-Cola Ranch stage to check out Sara Dufour, we headed back to the main stages for Blanco Brown, James Barker Band, Tenille Townes and Ashley McBryde.
Finally, we closed our night with Nashville’s Old Dominion who turned things up a notch and brought the energy, and finally with headliner Dierks Bentley, who brought his Arizona charm. And since beer goes hand-in-hand with country music, Dierks shared some beers with the audience during his classic Beers on me, and even invited a fan to shotgun a can on stage during Am I The Only One.
All in all, the first-ever day of LASSO Montreal was a flaming success, and we’re already excited to head back for Day 2, with Luke Bryan headlining!
