Mia Baron shares her new single, “Constant Contact”
Toronto, ON-based singer-songwriter Mia Baron has unveiled her single, “Constant Contact.”
Mia shares,
“The single was inspired by an addiction that I couldn’t get rid of. The addiction led me to feel sad and hopeless.
I couldn’t just turn it off, but that was because I didn’t reach out for help. I’ve realized that there is always a solution when you seek the support of others and are willing to accept it.”
During Mia’s period of addiction, she constantly felt lonely because nobody knew what she was really going through. She learned that when you stop facing others’ judgment, it can make a huge difference and help you move in the right direction.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
My name is Mia Baron I’m a 14-year-old singer/songwriter from Toronto. I’ve been singing since I was nine years old and recording my own original music for the past year and a half. I hope to inspire people with my music.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
I just released a song called “Constant Contact,” which is about not being able to stay away from something bad for you. It could mean different things to different people. In my case, it was an addiction that was hard to get rid of, and just the emotions that I went through, feeling alone because I kept what I went through to myself, knowing I had to stop, but it was so hard without the help of people close to me because no one knew what I was really going through.
Where do you tend to pull inspiration from when writing?
I write about my personal experiences. Every song I’ve written describes something I went through and the emotions that affected me.
Do you have any upcoming shows or festivals you’d like to tell us about?
I don’t have any big performances planned yet, but I hope to perform live on big stages in the future.
What’s your goal for 2022?
My goal for 2022 is to continue to write and release more songs. I hope people connect with my music on a personal level. Hopefully, I’ll start performing more and just continue enjoying my musical journey.
