Quebec’s Blue Ridge Band comprises lead singer Jérémy Plante, alongside drummer Samuel Jalbert-Raymond.
The debut single, “Stars of this Song,” was released last week and is inspired by the greatest American country hits.
The single, a modern country-pop track, immediately appealed to me, with the upbeat yet mellow vibe. The lyrics pulled me in, and I was singing along before the song had even finished. The chorus is fun and easy to sing along to.
Jérémy’s vocals are smooth and pleasing to the ears. I can easily picture the song both being performed at a summer festival, with fans all singing along loudly or being played around a bonfire, a couple sitting on the back of a track, sharing a moment.
All in all, this track is one to add to your summer playlists, and if this song is any indication of what’s to come from Blue Ridge Band, I’m psyched to hear more!
