Alexisonfire kicked off the first of two nights at Montreal’s MTelus, and boy was it epic! The last time we saw them at an indoor venue in Montreal, it was at the same place for their goodbye tour in 2012, so needless to say this show was long sold-out and very anticipated!
Toronto punk rock band Metz opened the night, setting the tone right away and getting the crowd pumped with their high energy and giant rock explosion.
Shortly before 9pm, Alexisonfire erupted on stage under a thunder of screams. The bar was set high with Committed to the Con as the opening track, but the energy never died throughout their sets. From frontman George Pettit’s incredible showmanship to Chris Steele’s nonstop antics, the show was a blast to watch. And the audience clearly agreed with us, as they jumped, moshed, and crowd-surfed the night away!
Alexisonfire will be playing MTelus again tomorrow, and it is a show you do not want to miss! Tickets are still available, so hurry up!
Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, now living in Montreal. I work in Marketing by day, and I’m an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
