Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hello Everyone! My name is Tanner Frame and I’m a new Country Artist. I was born and raised in a small mining town named Flin Flon, Manitoba, I spent most of my life here until making the jump out to Edmonton, Alberta. After graduating high school, I went into the Mining industry and worked for a few years.
Around a year and a half ago I moved with the purpose of going to business school, I quickly realized I wanted to pursue my burning passion for music and started working in order to support that. Ever since I was young I loved singing and even attempted writing as early as being in Grade 4.
Throughout the years I continued to write and sing, but it wasn’t until my later teen years I picked up the guitar. I’ve always felt a deep connection with country music and find it so relatable to where I’m from and how I grew up. You can always find me trying to create new lyrics and singing along to strumming on my guitar.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
My most recent release is titled “So Long” when I was writing this song, I was actually writing a completely different vibe! I was writing a slow sad heartbreak track… then I thought, why don’t I just write something more catchy and upbeat? A different perspective on a breakup? The “whatever, life goes on” kind of view. So I completely switched it up and thought… I like this! This song definitely has a combination of pop and country elements! It’s relatable for everyone!
Where do you tend to pull inspiration from when writing?
It really depends on what kind of mood I’m in. When I’m writing music I’m either trying to write something fun and catchy or I’m writing something that comes from personal experience and emotion. So far the songs I’ve released have been summer inspired, more geared towards being upbeat and catchy! For the next few songs that I plan on doing I want to have more of an emotional connection with the listener.
Do you have any upcoming shows or festivals you’d like to tell us about?
I’m just getting started on this music journey since I just released my 3rd single! As for any shows and festivals, I don’t have anything booked or planned at the moment, but I do want to get out there this summer and get some bigger stage experience under my belt. So far I’ve done some small solo acoustic performances but nothing big.
What’s your goal for 2022?
