Diverse Canadian country artist Dallas Smith, who was also the frontman of hard rock band Default, performed a solo show at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on June 30, 2022.
The night was kicked off by Manny Blu who mixes the country genre with punk and performs with a full rock n roll attitude.
Manny Blu left the stage but the backing band remained the same when Jojo Mason performed and drew the crowd back to a more traditional country sound that they adored.
Ontario’s own James Barker Band was the last group to play before the anticipated headlining act. James Barker Band has had four #1 country hit singles and is most remembered for their 2017 song “Chills”.
Dallas Smith is a Juno and CCMA award-winning artist who has seen lots of success in both the country and rock genres. Among many other accolades, Dallas Smith recently took home Male Artist of the Year and Single of the Year at the 2021 CCMA awards. Find more from Dallas Smith here.
