Following the news of A$AP Rocky‘s arrest a few weeks ago, it was no surprise that the rapper might not be able to enter Canada this summer. Today, the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival Grammy winner and trap pioneer, Future, will be bringing his beautiful noise to the main stage on the Saturday night!
With over 38 million streams every month on Spotify, Future is one of the biggest names in the game, always spitting fire. Having surpassed Drake for the most #1’s in the last decade on the R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart, Future earned his eighth #1 album this year with I Never Liked You, one of the hottest selling albums of the year. Within the first week, the album garnered over 280 million clicks, further solidifying Future’s reputation as one of the best in the game. Starting in the early days with the Dungeon Family in Atlanta, Future has been collaborating with all the top rappers in the business, and pioneering the extremely popular mumble rap movement. Recently dubbed by GQ as the best rapper alive, Future is THE hot hip hop ticket at any festival, and the Future Hive will be in full effect this summer at Osheaga this summer.
And who knows, with all the collaborations he’s had with Drake, could we expect a surprise visit from Drizzy himself like during Metro Metro?!
