We’re halfway through Les Francos! After dancing the night away with Bon Entendeur on Monday, we headed back to the Quartier des Spectacles last night for more music and fun. We started our evening at the Loto-Québec stage, with Luce Dufault. The singer revealed that she hadn’t played at the festival in forever, and it was quick before she enchanted the audience with her warming voice, receiving a loud ovation after Starmania song Le monde est stone.
Next, we headed back to the Bell stage for the main free show of the night, none other than the sensational Hubert Lenoir. In front of what seemed like the biggest crowd of his career (and a big jump from the last time we saw him in 2018), the singer pulled all the stops: from jumping in the crowd during his first song, creating a big circle pit, to smashing guitars at the end of the show! A set overflowing with energy as he stomped, jumped and screamed around the stage, the perfect party for an upbeat Tuesday night!
Les Francos de Montréal are taking place from June 10th to 18th around Montreal’s Place des Arts. For tickets and more information, visit the festival’s website. To keep track of all the shows, learn more about the artists and build your own schedule, you should also download the Les Francos mobile app, available on Apple and Android.
Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, now living in Montreal. I work in Marketing by day, and I’m an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
