During their BRIGHTSIDE tour, The Lumineers sold out two shows at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage and performed a remarkable couple of shows.
Opening for The Lumineers was the astounding American folk band, Caamp. Caamp’s set consisted of tracks, new and old, and swayed from electric to acoustic, playing both sounds faultlessly.
The Lumineers then came on and were exactly what the city needed on this sunny weekend in June. The Colorado-based folk/ indie rock group took over the twinkle light riddled stage and, after two long years in isolation, were finally able to debut their BRIGHTSIDE album to the Toronto crowds. From the friends who danced together on the grass to the love-struck couples rejoicing under a sky full of confetti, these Lumineers’ shows are not to be forgotten by all who were in attendance.
Hi! My name is Maddie and I’m a lover of art and all things rock n’ roll based in Toronto, Canada. I am an artist, writer, photographer, and filmmaker, happily spending my time involved and working hard at each of my passions. When I’m not creating art or films for myself, I’m either listening to music or at local shows using my camera to document the many amazing Toronto artists playing music for crowds of all sizes. I am lucky to spend time shooting, creating videos and taking photos for so many good people playing good Canadian music
