David James dropped his latest single “Wreck My Weekend” just in time to have made your weekend
On June 3, multiple CCMA Award-nominated and MCMA Award-winning artist David James released his latest single “Wreck My Weekend” everywhere via MDM Recordings Inc. / Universal Music Canada. This edgy, heartbreak track with rock undertones was written by Tebey Ottoh, Danick Dupelle, and Jimmy Thow and produced by Dupelle.
This is a new sound for James and one that already is liked by many. “Wreck My Weekend” will have you singing along not only on weekends but on weekdays as well long into the summer. James proves that “out of sight, out of mind isn’t as easy when a lover walks into the bar with someone else on their arm and you’re brought right back into your feelings.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever been this excited to release new music. “Wreck My Weekend” feels like a fresh and major step forward for me as an artist. It’s exciting, edgy and dynamically charged. Getting to work with one of my musical heroes as a producer on it (Danick Dupelle) pushed me as a vocalist and getting to collaborate in the studio was a dream.”
