Burn The Louvre

Burn The Louvre release new single, “Driving In The Rain”

Burn The Louvre, the indie duo from Hamilton, Ontario, has unveiled their new single, “Driving In The Rain.”

Burn The Louvre features Jordan Speare and Sean Cooper. The two are back with their fourth single, “Driving In The Rain,” from their debut LP, Silhouettes. The band is releasing the album as 11 separate singles (1 per month for 11 months). They previously shared “Alison” and “Nice Guy.”

Vocalist/ guitarist Jordan Speare shares on the folksy track,

“Driving In The Rain” is about exactly that. I wrote it after a fight my ex-girlfriend & I had where I drove down in the pouring rain to see her and apologize and try to fix things afterward (I did, temporarily). I love the metaphor that compares driving in inclement weather to that of weathering a storm. I also love the play on words in the title on the phrase “driving rain.” Although we were busy weathering our emotional storm, I still couldn’t help but appreciate the pathetic fallacy of my situation. Of course, it was raining that night.”
