Montreal, QC’s WE Junior is the project of Wilfrid Estimable Junior.
After having previously released several singles like “Nourished Spirit”, “No Excuse”, “It’s on You Pt.1” and “It’s on You Pt.2”, WE Junior is back with a first single “All Down” off his forthcoming album due out in late 2022.
Inspired by the pandemic, the single “All Down” is a mix of Pop, Rap, and Neo-Soul. This track is meant to inspire us to follow and spread our most closely-held values. It offers a glimmer of hope, calling out to all those who have lost their way to remember why we are here in the first place.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
Born in Montreal, Canada, this young man with some of his pairs came to create collective art regrouping multiple forms of it. Such as music, video, poetry, and photography. As the man axis of ‘’WE Junior’’ is sound (trough a mix of different genres ‘’pop, soulful, rap, jazz, classic, electronic,…’’), the intent is to hit the heart, body & soul of the various folks in this century to guide & inspire US (WE), as we all learn (Junior) through this journey.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
Less than a year ago, the piece ‘’ Infection’’ came out. Which, bring on the front row what humanity had to deal with the last 2-3 years. In fact, Infection was a call to action to all of us to behave and act wisely for the best interest of human life through creative sound and videography.
When it comes to the global pandemic, how are you keeping yourself out in the public eye while not being able to perform?
As far as the global pandemic, the main plan was to keep creating while staying off the grid and expose through social media what could be good & inspiring for art lovers.
Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so if you were able to work with ONE fellow Canadian artist, alive or dead, who would you choose?
What’s your goal for 2022?
Spread love and justice through art and hopefully inspire a few people through their journey!
I’m Jenna, and I am the founder and editor of Canadian Beats. I have had a strong love for Canadian music, which started many years ago. I have a passion for promoting these talented Canadian bands and artists, and that’s how Canadian Beats came to be. I am so proud of what it has become over the last few years, with many talented music lovers and writers coming together to spread the word of Canada’s music.
