The 42nd edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, presented by TD Bank Group in collaboration with Rio Tinto, is just around the corner! As Montreal begins to return to normalcy, the Festival is preparing to reintroduce the magic and excitement of large-scale musical gatherings to the heart of downtown. In total, more than 350 concerts by local and international artists, 2/3 of them free, will take place from June 30 to July 9, 2022. On the menu: legends, discoveries, diversity, experimentation, and even some shows created exclusively for the Festival. In this context, jazz is bursting at the seams with influences from electronic music, hip-hop, blues and more.
As we approach the 10-day festival, it’s time to unveil the indoor and outdoor concerts that will make up the next edition’s program. Tickets for these concerts go on sale Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m. (pre-sale exclusive to newsletter subscribers Thursday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
Laurent Saulnier, Vice-President of programming for the festival, explains:
The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal is back in force with great visitors from all over the world, unique creations and an insane desire to make you experience magical moments!

Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, now living in Montreal. I work in Marketing by day, and I’m an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
