Known as the “jewel of the JUNOS,” the JUNO Songwriter’s Circle is renowned for the passionate storytelling and stripped-down performances of behind our favourite Canadian songs of the past and the present.
This year, with the return to in-person performances in Toronto, the JUNO Awards are bringing the JUNO Songwriter’s Circle to the legendary and newly renovated Massey Hall on May 11, 2022.
Hosted by CBC’s q host, Tom Power, the 2022 JUNO Songwriting Circle will feature performances by Charlotte Day Wilson, Serena Ryder, TOBi, The Weather Station and more to be announced. Tickets for the event are available now at and are available at https://masseyhall.mrth.com and start at $29.50; with $1 of all sales going to MusiCounts in celebration of their 25th anniversary.
After the 2020 and 2021 festivals and ceremonies were scrapped in the wake of the first waves of the global COVID-19 pandemic in favour of virtual presentations, the 2022 JUNO Week will take place from May 9th to May 15th, with the culminating broadcast of the 51st annual JUNO Awards returning to a live setting on May 15th from Toronto’s Budweiser Stage. The 2022 JUNO Awards will broadcast live across Canada at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos.
