It had been a while since we last saw Papa Roach in Montreal, since their visit with Shinedown in Laval in September 2019. As a coincidence, last night’s reunion took place at the exact same venue, with the band’s long-awaited Kill The Noise Tour stomping once again on the Place Bell grounds.
Following electric opening sets by Bad Wolves and Hollywood Undead, Jacoby Shaddix and the band emerged on stage to the sounds of “Kill the Noise” in front of a packed audience ready to rock! As always, Jacoby had the audience in the palm of his hand, and his overflowing energy is still just as contagious! The crowd moshed, crowd-surfed, did circle pits and walls of death all night, to the sounds of Papa Roach’s newer tracks like Stand Up and Swerve, to the unforgettable classics like Help, Scars and Last Resort. All in all, last night was an epic rock show, and proof that even after all these years, Papa Roach has still got it and is here to stay!
